It's November already

Hard to believe that next week is Thanksgiving and Christmas is just around the corner. Yikes. I keep thinking that this time last year I already looked as big as a house and my feet were starting to resemble oversized marshmallows. Such fun.

The Billings Howards are hard at work with weekends full of play, play, play. The daycare is always prompting me to try new foods with Faith and whatever else so that she is ready to graduate to the pre-toddler room. I have started informing them that sadly they spend more time with her so they should just let me know what they have tried. I think this will work in their favor.

Faith is learning that making very loud noises in public is distressful for her mother, but very amusing for grandparents and anyone else watching me suffer. She has no desire to crawl or attempt to do much standing outside of when she pulls herself up from the zipper or tassle on whatever I happen to be wearing. I suppose I should be grateful that I have not yet found her wandering all over the house, but surely she'll find the need to move at some point, right?

We are looking forward to Thanksgiving with Erica, Alex and Cale. It is almost his one year birthday and we can't wait for the party. It is amazing how far he has come from that 3 pound little squirt he was a year ago. And that sweet little smile gets bigger and brighter every day.

So as per usual, we hope you enjoy some of the latest. Enjoy your Thanksgiving. There will be more to come before Christmas I am sure.
Mom can entertain her enough to keep her semi-focused. She was trying to get Bear to join us.
Pebbles is finally worn out after the daycare party and trick-or-treats.

It is far easier to keep Faith focused on the camera when the photographer is not a tripod and a timer.

Pebbles gets ready for her day of Halloween fun.

This is Bear's way of saying "Hey stay put would you!"

This part I really had to watch because my good little eater will truly try and eat just about anything.

Exploring the gooeyness of pumpkin carving.

Getting ready for school pictures. Yes, I said school pictures. What daycare centers will do these days.
